The humankind knows about 5000 languages, 3000 of them are speaking nowadays. Some of them have been more popular, some of them, of course, less. During last century were really widespread French, German, Russian, English and may be Chinese starts.
Today the most popular language in the world is English obviously. All official and international documents, popular books and songs, software are in English. Even the common language between people from different countries is usually English. So, today people understand significance of studying this language.
Now I want to share with you my last experience, that I have had this summer. I took part in a project, that was organized by AIESEC Chisinau from Moldova. About 40 international participants we had and about 30 countries were involved. All of participants had their accent and won style of speaking, this means that some of them I understood perfectly, but others after 3-5 times discussing (when I started to get used to their accent).

First part of the project participant should spent in villages, where they were divided in small groups.I was as a coordinator of one of that groups and we spent our two weeks in Galeshti village. What I can say?First days seemed to me difficult, because people who deal every step with high technology and have the most beautiful architecture in their countries, weren't prepared to the conditions of our villages. So, for some of them it was like a cultural shock. Even it I didn't give up and tried to organize every day with a lot of activities and hikes. Our group had a lot of fun but also work. For example, we picked up the grape, we plowed the land,
we gathered beans, milked sheep, carried water from the well, spent one night in a tent on a lakeside, visited Italian producer of metal vases, organised Gloabal Village, rided a horse, visited forester and his manufacture of wood-boxes that produces about 8000 boxes, played ping-pong, billiard, football and volleyball with local team... and also organized parties for locals, where two members of our group were DJs. And these are not all of activities that we did. But the most important part of all of them, that we started to be united and a very friendly team. Of course it happened because I had great persons in my team, of course it was so nice because a lot of people helped me ( especially my cousin and my parents), but we couldn't ignore the fact, that all these activities, feelings, even friendship depended on our communication. And the common language for all of us was English.
In conclusion I want to say, that English can give you more opportunities to develop yourself ( involving in different conferences, projects, activities), to have a great experience, that you can't forget, to make new friends in all the word! And believe me, that all of them change you and your life "from negative to positive"!
